Why do I need to change my car’s oil?
Answer:

Oil is a vital part of your car. It is the essential lubricant in your car engine. Without it the metal-on-metal friction creates so much heat that eventually the surfaces weld themselves together and the engine seizes.

How often should I change my car’s oil?
Answer:

It depends on the car’s make, model and year, as well as driving conditions. Many of today’s automakers recommend oil change at 5,000 or even more miles. Driver should check their user manual for the recommendation.

What happen if I never change the oil in my car?
Answer:

Dirt will accumulate in the oil and it will thicken and become abrasive. It will cause the filter will clog and the dirty oil will automatically bypass the filter to through a relief valve causing more wear to the engine and it will eventually fail.

What if I just add more oil and not change the oil?
Answer:

Over time the additives like dispersants, detergents, rust fighters and friction reducers will wear out so the oil won’t lubricate as well as it should. The oil will get contaminated with dust, metallic shavings, and even antifreeze causing it to become thicken and abrasive.

Will my engine fail if I forget to change my oil and it goes over the recommended change interval by 1000 miles?
Answer:

Don’t worry that will not happen. You should have run the same oil through the engine for a long time or many thousands of miles before it cause catastrophic failure.

Why change my oil filter?
Answer:

If what you owe is more than the offer for your trade, the difference can be included in your financing when you buy or you can pay us the difference directly.

Will you buy my vehicle outright?
Answer:

The oil filter’s job is to remove oil contaminations. It filters out the solid particles to allow the oil to flow unrestricted through the engine. If the filter becomes clogged the oil and contaminants will flow around the filter and head straight to the engine where it can eventually cause permanent engine damage.
